Faridabad, Jan 27: NHPC celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India on January 26, 2026, across all its locations, showcasing enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
The celebrations began with Bhupender Gupta, CMD, unfurling the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and Vande Mataram at the Residential Colony in Faridabad. The event was attended by senior officials, including Uttam Lal and Mahesh Kumar Sharma, along with employees and their families.
In his address, Gupta extended Republic Day greetings, reaffirming NHPC’s dedication to India’s constitutional values and highlighting its significant role in enhancing energy security through clean and renewable sources.
He emphasized the guiding principles of justice, equality, and inclusive development as enshrined in the Indian Constitution, and paid tribute to freedom fighters and the Constitution’s architects, notably Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
Gupta noted that NHPC is a vital part of India’s power sector, contributing approximately 17% of the nation’s hydropower capacity and overseeing over half of the nation’s under-construction hydropower projects.
With an installed capacity of 8,582.90 MW from hydropower, solar, and wind, NHPC is committed to expanding zero-emission energy initiatives, particularly in remote and border regions, which aids regional development and social upliftment.
He also recognized the hard work of NHPC employees in challenging environments while committing to principles of transparency, safety, quality, sustainability, and timely project delivery, aligning with the Prime Minister’s Panchamrit goals and the vision of a developed India by 2047.
The day’s celebrations included a cultural program featuring patriotic performances by the NHPC family and Team Revolution Group, captivating the audience and enhancing the festive atmosphere. The Republic Day events were broadcast live to all NHPC locations nationwide through webcasting.
एनएचपीसी ने 77वां गणतंत्र दिवस मनाया
एनएचपीसी ने 26 जनवरी, 2026 को अपने सभी कार्यस्थलों पर बड़े उत्साह और देशभक्ति की भावना के साथ भारत का 77वां गणतंत्र दिवस मनाया।
एनएचपीसी आवासीय परिसर, फरीदाबाद में अध्यक्ष व प्रबंध निदेशक, एनएचपीसी श्री भूपेन्द्र गुप्ता ने राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराकर और राष्ट्रगान व वंदे मातरम् के सामूहिक गायन के साथ एनएचपीसी में गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह का शुभारंभ किया।
इस अवसर पर श्री उत्तम लाल, निदेशक (कार्मिक) और श्री महेश कुमार शर्मा, निदेशक (वित्त) सहित वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों, कार्मिकों और उनके परिवार के सदस्य उपस्थित थे।
इस अवसर पर संबोधित करते हुए, श्री भूपेन्द्र गुप्ता ने गणतंत्र दिवस पर पूरे एनएचपीसी परिवार को बधाई दी।
श्री गुप्ता ने स्वच्छ, हरित और नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा के माध्यम से राष्ट्र की ऊर्जा सुरक्षा को मजबूत करने में एनएचपीसी की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका और भारत के संवैधानिक मूल्यों के प्रति उसकी प्रतिबद्धता को दोहराया।
अपने संबोधन में उन्होंने स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों, सैनिकों और डॉ. बी.आर. अम्बेडकर के नेतृत्व में संविधान निर्माताओं को श्रद्धांजलि देते हुए न्याय, समानता और समावेशी विकास के लिए भारतीय संविधान की भावना को एक मार्गदर्शक शक्ति के रूप में उल्लेख किया ।
अध्यक्ष व प्रबंध निदेशक महोदय ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि “एनएचपीसी भारत के विद्युत क्षेत्र का एक प्रमुख आधार स्तम्भ बनकर उभरी है, जो देश की जलविद्युत क्षमता में लगभग 17% का योगदान देती है और यह भारत में आधे से ज़्यादा निर्माणाधीन जलविद्युत परियोजनाओं को निष्पादित कर रही है।
जलविद्युत, सौर और पवन ऊर्जा से 8,582.90 मेगावाट की कुल संस्थापित क्षमता के साथ, एनएचपीसी विशेष रूप से दूरदराज और सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में क्षेत्रीय विकास और सामाजिक उत्थान को बढ़ावा देते हुए शून्य- उत्सर्जन ऊर्जा स्रोतों के अपने पोर्टफोलियो का लगातार विस्तार कर रही है।” उन्होंने चुनौतीपूर्ण क्षेत्रों में कार्य करने वाले एनएचपीसी कार्मिकों के समर्पण के लिए आभार प्रकट किया और प्रधानमंत्री के पंचमृत लक्ष्यों और विकसित भारत 2047 के विजन के समर्थन में पारदर्शिता, सुरक्षा, गुणवत्ता, संधारणीयता और समय पर परियोजना निष्पादन के लिए संगठन की प्रतिबद्धता की पुष्टि की।
इस समारोह में एक जीवंत सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें एनएचपीसी परिवार और टीम रेवोल्यूशन ग्रुप द्वारा देशभक्ति गीत और नृत्य को प्रस्तुत किए गए ।
सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम ने दर्शकों को मन मुग्ध व आनंदित कर दिया।
लाइव वेबकास्टिंग के माध्यम से देश में स्थित एनएचपीसी के सभी कार्यस्थलों पर गणतंत्र दिवस कार्यक्रम का सीधा प्रसारण भी किया गया।
