NEP 2020 - 3RD ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA NLC NEYVELI, CUDDALORE DISTRICT

New Delhi, July 27: The 3rd anniversary of NEP 2020 was celebrated in KendriyaVidyalayaNeyveli on 26^th July 2023 and a press meet was arranged. Mrs. N Valamathi, Principal briefed the benefits, significance and achievements in implementation of National Education Policy, 2020 in the KendriyaVidyalayas including KV NLC Neyveli.

A Kuppusami CGM (TA) NLCIL, Chairman Nominee KV NLC, Dr. T. Ramesh Principal Jawahar School, CBSE, Neyveli, Abdul khaddar CM/PR, Parent Stakeholders attended the meeting.

National Education Policy envisions a new educational system of India by bringing structural change in curricular and pedagogical system by adopting 5+3+3+4 in the place of 10 +2 system and attains global knowledge super power through bringing out unique capabilities and talents of each and every student.

She narrated how the components of National Education Policy 2020, like NIPUN (National Initiative for Proficiency) in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy is facilitating to achieve FLN (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy) at the foundational age of students before attaining grade 3.

Other components like ‘VidyaPravesh’, digital infrastructure (DIKSHA) portal, e-Vidya channels (SwayamPrabha), ATAL Tinkering Lab, Pedagogical Shift & Training to Teachers, National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage (NCF FS), Re-alignment of admission age & Skill subject were also highlighted
