Mangaluru, Sep 03 Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) has announced a financial contribution of ₹47 lakhs to the Akshaya Patra Foundation, an initiative by ISKCON, to support their Mid-Day Meal Program.
This funding will provide hot, nutritious meals to approximately 2,500 students from various schools in the vicinity of MRPL, ensuring that they receive daily mid-day meals throughout the academic year.
This contribution of MRPL is aligned to it’ssteadfast commitment to promoting education through it’s “Shiksha Samrakshan” scheme which backs impactful initiatives such as the Akshaya Patra Mid-Day Meal Program. By supporting this cause, MRPL plays a pivotal role in enhancing the learning environment for the children.
Prashanth Baliga GM (CSR) of MRPL handed over LOI of Rs 47 Lakh to the representatives of Akshaya Patra Foundation on the ocaasion. MRPL Officer Steevan Pinto was present.
