Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde to inaugurate Water Summit on Dec 3 in Mumbai

 Mumbai, Dec 02: Eknath Shinde; Chief Minister of Maharashtra will inaugurate and deliver an inaugural address at Maharashtra Water Summit on December 3, 2022 at Yashwantrao Chavan Pratisthan Auditorium, Near Mantralay, Nariman Point in Mumbai. Around 300 people are joining the prestigious conference on Water Issues focused on Maharashtra. The summit is being organised by India CSR.

“People and organisations working for water conservation and water sustainability in the Maharashtra region are joining the summit in large numbers. Maharashtra Jal Samman 2022 will also be given to the People and organisations working for water conservation in the state.”, Rusen Kumar, Founder, India CSR Network informed.

“The daylong forum will witness the finest mind of water, rural development, CSR and sustainability. The summit is themed around Water for All: Call for Solution, Action and Sustainability. Dr. Rajendra Singh, known as the ‘waterman of India’, will deliver the keynote address at the summit.”, he said.

Devendra Fadnavis, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra will address the valedictory session of the summit.

The day-long summit will start at 10 AM. Venue: Yashwantrao Chavan Pratisthan Auditorium, Nariman Point, Mumbai

Finest Minds 

The daylong forum will witness the finest mind of water, rural development, CSR and sustainability. The summit is themed around Water for All: Call for Solution, Action and Sustainability. The summit will feature key topics including Community participation in water security, CSR partnership for water positive agenda and Corporate-led water sustainability strategy. The Maharashtra Water Summit (MWS), a leadership forum, is designed to discuss water-related issues of the Maharashtra region and access cutting-edge minds to seek solutions.
