New Delhi, March 05: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held bilateral discussions with Finnish President Alexander Stubb at Hyderabad House, focusing on expanding cooperation across key sectors and strengthening strategic ties.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the talks covered trade, technology, innovation and collaboration in multilateral forums, alongside regional and global developments. The Prime Minister also hosted a luncheon in honour of the visiting leader.
Earlier, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met President Stubb ahead of the summit-level engagement. The Finnish President also paid homage at Rajghat and is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the Raisina Dialogue.
During his three-day State Visit, President Stubb will call on Droupadi Murmu and engage with political and business leaders in Mumbai, underscoring efforts to enhance economic and technological cooperation.
The visit signals renewed momentum in India-Finland relations, anchored in shared democratic values and expanding engagement across the EU and Nordic region.
