Former cabinet minister of Haryana and a prominent Gurjar leader Kartaar Singh Bhadana formed a “17 Sutriya Sangarsh Samiti” as a new political front to revive his political ground in Haryana state


Faridabad (PTI), November 8: Bhadana on Monday announced to start his campaign from coming Sunday under the banner of samiti to mobilise people in all 90 assembly constituencies of Haryana.

Bhadana had contested election from four different states on the tickets of different parties and elected two assemblies of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

In his 17 points demands are includes higher MSP for farmer, high paying job for youth, minimum wage of Rs 25,000 per month for skilled workers and Rs 15,000 per month for unskilled workers, minimum wage of Rs 25,000/month for Valmiki community with fixed working hours, housing for all, government hospital in each district and 300 units of free electricity.

“My objective is to improve the life standard of people and bring to “Ram Rajya” in a real sense and our Samiti will support only the political party who will implement these 17 points demands as priority. All the political parties will listen to us if people are with us,” said Kartaar Singh Bhadana.

Kartarr Singh Bhadana, a resident of Anangpur village of Faridabad, has been associated with different political parties and is considered as a prominent Gurjar leader. Kartaar had contested elections from four states – Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh — on the ticket of different parties and currently he is associated with Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).

In 2004 general election Bhadana contested on BJP ticket from Dausa Lok Sabha constituency of Rajasthan against Congress leader Sachin Pilot. In 2012 he contested from Katauli assembly constituency of UP on an RLD ticket and won the election. In 2017 he lost from the same constituency on an RLD ticket.
