FASTag Annual Pass Fee Raised to Rs 3075 for FY27 : NHAI

New Delhi, Mar 15 The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on Sunday announced a marginal increase in the fee for the FASTag annual pass for the financial year 2026–27.

The annual pass fee has been revised to ₹3,075 from the existing ₹3,000, with the new rate set to take effect from April 1, 2026, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said in a statement.

According to NHAI, the revision has been carried out in accordance with the provisions of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008.

The FASTag annual pass, introduced on Independence Day, August 15, 2025, has gained traction among private vehicle owners, with over 56 lakh users currently availing the facility.

The pass is available for eligible non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag and can be used at around 1,150 toll plazas across national highways and expressways in India.

It allows commuters to pay a one-time fee for toll usage valid for one year or up to 200 toll plaza crossings, whichever occurs earlier, helping frequent highway users avoid repeated recharges.

The annual pass is activated on the existing FASTag linked to the vehicle within two hours after payment through the Rajmarg Yatra App or the official website of the National Highways Authority of India.
