Bihar Yoga Publications Yoga Outreach-Delhi 2023 being organised under the aegis of CISF Wives Welfare Association “Sanrakshika” from 8th to 9th August, 2023

New Delhi, 07.08.2023: The Bihar School of Yoga is an esteemed yoga Institute founded and developed by Sri Swami Satyananda Saraswati in MungerBihar in the year 1963. The system of yoga taught at the Bihar School of Yoga is recognized worldwide as Bihar Yoga. Bihar Yoga publication is renowned worldwide for its publication on yoga and spirituality.  The CISF Wives Welfare Association “Sanrakshika” is organizing two day Bihar Yoga Publications Yoga Outreach-Delhi 2023 at Meraki lawns of CISF HQrs from 08.08.2023 to 09.08.2023. More than 130 titles in Hindi and English will be available free of cost as “Prasad” to the visitors.

This year being the Centenary Celebration of Swami Satyananda  Saraswati, an year long Yoga Outreach is being conducted across the country and globe as an offering of yoga to society for health, happiness and harmony.

As part of this Yoga Outreach, the Bihar Yoga Publications are being showcased   by “Sanrakshika” from 8th to 9th August, 2023 from 1100 hrs to 1800 hrs at Meraki lawns of CISF HQrs, New Delhi. The entry will be open for all and the visitors will be provided 10 books of their choice free of cost. In total more than 30,000 books and 10,000 yoga magazines will be distributed during the exhibition.

For its objective to enhance the physical, mental and emotional well being of CISF families and for  outreach in the society President Sanrakshika Smt Aparna Singh has taken a unique  initiative in collaboration with Bihar School of  Yoga  and Bihar Yoga Publication to impart yoga awareness amongst the wider community. To connect CISF with the Yoga outreach by ‘Bihar School of Yoga and other spiritual teachings by the great gurus, few selected officers/personnel were sent for training on Yoga and spirituality at the Bihar School of Yoga and these trainers of the Yoga school also trained many a personnel at various locations.

The trained officers/personnel later imparted training of yoga to more than 1,50,000 personnel and their family members. The main highlight of this in-house training is that many wards who were trained in yoga trained other wards thereby creating yoga awareness amongst the children also.

The best practices adopted by CISF to connect its force personnel, their wards and general public towards the yoga and spirituality which contributes towards enhancing the  physical, mental and emotional well being, can become a role model for other Central Armed Police Force and State Police Forces. On 7th August, 2023 a Curtain Raiser/Press Conference was organized at CISF HQrs. While addressing Smt Aparna Singh, President Sanrakshika highlighted the achievement of Sanrakshika to enhance the physical, mental and emotional well being of CISF families through yoga and spirituality. She also requested the media for wide publicity of the “Gyan Yagya” (Book exhibition and distribution function)  being organized at CISF HQrs from 8th to 9th August, 2023 so that the general public may be made aware about the event and they can also benefit from the yoga and spirituality.
