New Delhi, Jan 25: In her address to the nation on the eve of Republic Day, President Droupadi Murmu emphasized that the Constitution defines justice and brotherhood within the Republic of India.
She highlighted the Union government’s constitutional vision and values, reflecting on significant events like the 150th anniversary of “Vande Mataram” and tributes to Sardar Patel and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
The President praised the contributions of the Armed Forces during Operation Sindoor and acknowledged the pivotal role of women in national development, as well as the efforts of farmers, scientists, doctors, the police, business leaders, and the youth in fostering progress. She reiterated Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s emphasis on electoral participation as a means to reinforce democracy.
