New Delhi, Jan 05: Exports of Ayush and herbal products have increased by 6.11%, rising from $649.2 million in 2023-24 to $688.89 million in 2024-25, as reported by the government.
This growth is attributed to the establishment of the Ayush Export Promotion Council (AYUSHEXCIL), which has enhanced global outreach and addressed international demand for India’s traditional medicine.
Celebrating its 4th anniversary, AYUSHEXCIL has focused on exporter capacity building, regulatory compliance, and organizing international trade events. India’s traditional medicine systems have gained recognition in bilateral trade agreements, and the Council aims to further strengthen international cooperation and enhance global acceptance of these products.
This progress aligns with India’s vision for self-reliance and leadership in the AYUSH sector.
