Agartala, Dec 20: Tripura’s government, under Chief Minister Manik Saha, is aiming to transform the state into a key tourism destination, aided by Rs 451 crore allocated for 21 tourism-related projects approved with support from the ministries of DoNER and Tourism.
Saha emphasized films’ role in reflecting society while launching the ‘Tripura Culture and Heritage Land’ program. He highlighted efforts to enhance the Tripura Film and Television Institute (TFTI) into a leading institute in Northeast India and urged students to leverage their creativity for societal benefit.
Saha also noted the government’s commitment to various welfare initiatives and fostering financial independence for students. Dignitaries from the cultural and educational sectors attended the event.
