The summit, following India’s successful presidency in 2023, will address topics like sustainable economic growth, disaster risk reduction, and climate change.
South Africa’s priorities include enhancing disaster resilience, ensuring debt sustainability for low-income nations, and mobilizing finance for a just energy transition.
Modi is expected to engage in bilateral meetings and participate in the India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA) Leaders’ Meeting, highlighting the collective efforts of emerging economies in addressing Global South concerns.
