New Delhi, Nov 17: India’s Union Minister of State for Communications, Dr. Pemmasani Chandra Shekhar, presented the country’s vision for a sustainable digital future at the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-25) in Baku.
He stressed the significance of global cooperation in cybersecurity and highlighted India’s extensive digital transformation, with 1.2 billion telecom subscribers and the rapid rollout of 5G services.
The Minister discussed programs that have successfully blocked millions of fraudulent activities, asserting that cybersecurity is a global responsibility. He called for international collaboration to enhance digital connectivity and ensure inclusive growth, emphasizing India’s readiness to partner with all ITU member states to achieve these goals.
