New Delhi, Nov 14: The government of India is finalizing the draft National Labour and Employment Policy (Shram Shakti Niti-2025) with input from various stakeholders, including employers’ associations and Central Trade Unions (CTUs).
Labour Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya highlighted the importance of collaboration in creating a policy that ensures worker welfare. The draft is open to suggestions that aim to enhance worker protection, social security, and employment opportunities, while also promoting innovation and ease of doing business.
The meeting concluded positively, fostering confidence in the development of a comprehensive framework for India’s labour governance.
