New Delhi, Nov 13: Senior IPS officer Parag Jain has been assigned additional responsibilities as Secretary (Security) within the Cabinet Secretariat while continuing his role as Secretary of the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW).
This temporary assignment is effective immediately and aims to ensure continuity in national security coordination until a permanent appointment is made. Jain’s dual role will focus on internal security oversight, intelligence coordination, and implementation of protection protocols.
