Faridabad, Aug 30 NHPC Limited held its 49th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 30.08.2025, where the company considered a proposal for a final dividend of Rs.0.51/- per equity share for 2024-25.
R.P. Goyal, CMD, addressed shareholders, highlighting NHPC’s robust financial performance in 2024-25 and its Navratna status, which enhances decision-making agility and opens new growth opportunities.
The company also celebrated its 50th Raising Day, marking its Golden Jubilee Year, reflecting its commitment to India’s energy sector. Goyal highlighted key project milestones, such as the completion of the 800 MW Parbati-II Hydro Electric Project in Himachal Pradesh, the commissioning of 214.28 MW capacity at the 300 MW Karnisar Solar Project in Rajasthan, and significant progress at the 2000 MW Subansiri Lower Project in Arunachal Pradesh/Assam.
He assured shareholders that various queries regarding the company’s performance were addressed during the AGM.
