New Delhi, March 08: RailTel, a Mini Ratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, celebrated International Women’s Day with grandeur and fervor. On the eve of Women’s Day,an interactive session with all women employees,management and senior officials were organized at corporate office and all regional offices.
The session was chaired by Sanjai Kumar, CMD/RailTel and was joined by Director/POM, CVO, PEDs, GGMs and senior officials across RailTel. Inspiring stories of women achievements and ways to uplift the less fortunate women around us were discussed which focusses on the need of working hand in hand to create an inclusive world together.
This Women’s Day, RailTel went beyond recognizing the achievement of women employees of RailTel and organized a virtual meet of women leaders of partner companies. This meet was Chaired by Manoj Tandon, Director/POM, and was joined by Director/NPM, CVO, PEDs, GGMs and a number of women leaders of partner companies.
They shared their positive experience with RailTel which was very encouraging and morale booster for team RailTel International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8 every year to highlight issues concerning women’s rights and equality. The aim of this day is to not only highlight women’s issues but also to encourage and unite everyone in advocating for gender equality. This year, the theme of International Women’s Day 2024 is ‘Inspire Inclusion’,’ which is to encourage more participation of women in every spheres of life.
