Mangalore, May 25 INS Shardul today docked at New Mangalore Port trust with 210 mt liquid oxgyen & 1200 oxgyen cylinders, announcing this Kuwaiti Ambassador to India, Jassem Al-Najem said this the second consignment of medical supplies to help India in tackling the covid crisis and help our friendly people.
Ambassador also said “Kuwait is reciprocating there gesture to India”, he also said that last year when kuwait was hit by covid pandemic India had helped by sending doctors, nurses and medical supplies.

During the first phase of relief operation, Kuwait delivered 215 MT of Liquid Medical Oxygen and 2600 oxygen cylinders to India by three Indian Navy Ship to Mangalore port in Karnataka and one commercial ship to Nhava Sheva in Mumbai.
The supply cycle between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of India is fully operational and is committed to transport the total 1400 MT of Liquid Medical Oxygen to meet the urgent requirements.
