A number of Baltic experts gave an interview to the Jahon Information Agency in which they shared views and comments on the participation of our country in the World Exhibition Expo Milano 2015 and its achievements in the agricultural sector.
Edgars Kreyshmanis, Chairman of the company DAGI Ltd. (Latvia):
– Our company works in the Latvian market since 1992, being engaged in the supply of food, food additives, as well as products of the textile industry.
It should be noted that we have successfully started their cooperation with Uzbekistan. Importing from light industry products, which are high quality and reasonable cost. For instance, 14 thousand of high-quality T-shirts made in Uzbekistan were brought for participants of the annual festival “Song and Dance Festival” which has been held in July 2015 in Riga.
Taking into account your country’s business opportunities and wide range of its destinations, the company is interested in the opening of production line together with the Uzbek partners in the sphere of textile products, food additives and pharmaceuticals.

– Uzbekistan is of great interest to the Lithuanian businessmen on cooperation in the field of food industry.
Fruit and vegetable products of the country is well known in the Lithuanian market, as well as our dairy products are in demand in the market of Uzbekistan. In this respect, there is a significant increase in turnover, which stimulates the business circles of the two countries to further deepen cooperation.
National stand of your country at World Exhibition Expo Milano 2015 represents a major opportunity not only to produce high-quality food products but also to export them.
Taking into account the current prospects of cooperation with Uzbekistan in trade, economic and investment spheres, as well as in the field of education and technology, our company is interested in opening a representative office in the country and establishment of the Lithuanian Information Centre, which will further deepen the fruitful cooperation between the business circles of two countries.
