New Delhi, Feb 19: REC Limited showcased India’s first live demonstration of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) energy trading under the India Energy Stack during the India AI Impact Summit 2026.
This event marked a milestone in transitioning to a decentralized, consumer-driven digital power ecosystem. A notable transaction involved Arun Singh, a farmer, selling surplus solar power to a shop owner, demonstrating the practical application of the India Energy Stack as a Digital Public Infrastructure.
The session featured key leaders from the energy sector and included presentations to the Union Power Minister and the Prime Minister, highlighting the role of technology service providers in advancing AI solutions for the power sector.
