New Delhi, Nov 27 Union MoS (IC) for Power, New & Renewable Energy, R. K. Singh laid down the foundation stone for 400/220/132 kV POWERGRID Chandauti Sub-station which will supply power from Nabinagar Power station and supply to districts of Gaya, Rohtas and Aurangabad. This ₹240 Crore Sub-station will improve the power position of Bihar in line with the Government of India’s mission “24×7 Power For All”. It will also lead to overall development and economic progress of the state, and through the POWERGRID 765 kV Gaya Sub-station, shall strengthen the state grid connectivity with the national grid.
Also present on this occasion were Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Energy, Prohibition, Excise & Registration Minister, Bihar, along with Hari Manjhi, MP (Gaya) and Vinod Prasad Yadav, MLA (Sherghati). This is another step towards powering progress for Bihar and transmitting prosperity for people.
