Oil India Limited (OIL), India’s second largest National Exploration & Production Company, felicitated Lovlina Borgohain, Tokyo Olympic Bronze medalist in women 59Kg boxing in an event jointly organised by OIL and Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) at Gauhati on Wednesday, 1st September 2021. Lovlina Borgohain is the only athlete from Assam to win a medal in Tokyo Olympics.
Rameswar Teli, Union Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Labour & Employment handed over the cheque of Rs. 25.00 Lakh to Ms Lovlina on behalf of OIL in the presence of arish Madhav, Director (Finance), OIL and S.K. Baruah, MD, NRL and other senior officials of OIL & NRL.
