New Delhi, Sept 02: NTPC Kanti has received the Global Water Tech Award 2025 in the “Industrial Water Efficiency & Sustainable Transformation Initiative of the Year” category. This accolade was bestowed by the Global Energy and Environment Foundation (GEEF), New Delhi, with support from the Ministry of Jal Shakti.
The award was presented by Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India, at the Global Water Tech Summit 2025 held on August 29th in New Delhi.
This recognition acknowledges NTPC Kanti’s significant contributions to water conservation and sustainable water management, demonstrated through advanced wastewater treatment, reuse of treated water, and extensive community awareness campaigns.
The GEEF Global Water Tech Awards annually celebrate innovation and leadership in the water sector, and this award underscores NTPC Kanti’s commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable industrial practices.
