In recognition of exemplary initiatives taken up by NTPC Bongaigaon, in developing effective safety culture in order to reduce the accidents and to save precious human lives at work places, the station bagged the Greentech Effective Safety Culture Award – 2021 by Greentech Foundation, New Delhi in the Winner Category.
The award was presented in the Greentech Safety Culture and Energy Summit and awards function was held on 26-27 August 2021 at Sonamarg, J&K by Vijay Kumar, IPS, IGP of J&K in the presence of Kamleshwar Sharan, CEO & Chairman, Greentech Foundation.
Arunashis Das, AGM(Projects) received the Award on behalf of NTPC Bongaigaon.
Subrata Mandal, ED,NTPC Bongaigaon congratulated the Safety team headed by Amitava Saha,AGM (Safety) in the presence of Arunashis Das, AGM (Projects) on receiving the award in his office premises and inspired them to continue the good work carried by the station in the area of safety.
