GENERAL MANAGER, NORTHERN HOISTS TRICOLOUR AT BARODA HOUSE AND ADDRESSES RAILWAYMEN
INDEPENDENCE DAY ALSO CELEBRATED IN THE DIVISIONS
New Delhi, Aug 15: The 77th Independence Day was celebrated over Northern Railway with Enthusiasm and Fervor. Shobhun Choudhuri, General Manager, Northern Railway hoisted the National Flag and Inspected the Guard of Honour accorded by the Railway Protection Force Jawans at Baroda House, the Head Quarter Office of Northern Railway, New Delhi.
He also addressed the Railwaymen and delivered his Independence Day message on the occasion. The Additional General Manager, all PHODs, Railway Protection Officials, other senior officers and the staff attended the ceremony. Smt. Sanneeti Choudhuri, President of Northern Railway Women Welfare Organization & other members of NRWWO were also present on the occasion.
Hoisting of the National Flag along with several ceremonial functions were held during the Independence Day celebrations in all five Divisions of Northern Railway; Delhi, Ambala, Firozpur, Lucknow and Moradabad, with the respective Divisional Railway Managers leading the functions.
