NLCIL providesToilet Block and various facilities to ADW High School

NLC India Ltd.as a responsible corporate citizen has always undertaken numerous initiatives to ensure the holistic development of communities living in and around its operational sites. Keeping up with this commitment and as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission, it has constructed a toilet Block, compound wall and various facilities for Aadi Dravidar WelfareHigh School at Vandurayanpattu, Village near Bhuvanagiri in Cuddalore District under its CSR initiatives at a cost of Rs.29.80 lakhs .

On 12.09.2018, at school premises of for AadiDravidarWelfare High School ,the newly constructed toilet block and compound wall was inaugurated byShriR.Vikraman, Director (HR), NLCIL in the presence of Shri G.MathiVathanan,IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department, Govt of Odisha.

The toilet block with separate provision of toilets for Girls & Boys will provide better sanitation facility with hygiene & cleanliness to the school students. The initiative included construction of compound wall at a length of 100 mtrs. NLCIL also provided 50 no’s of Desk model Eco Four Seater, 40 no’s of lab stools, 8 Green Boards, 15 no’s of office table and 15 no’s of S type Chairs for school.
