As a part its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, NLCIL has been continuously imparting various vocational training courses to the women members of surrounding villages, to sustain their lively hood, to increase self-reliance and self-esteem by training them in various trades like Tailoring, Light Motor Vehicle Driving, German Jewellery Making, Beautician Course etc.,
For the Financial Year 2018-19, NLCIL has inaugurated Tailoring Classes for 180 Women members in three phases at Women Empower Centre, Block-9, Neyveli, on 11.07.2018.
Smt Yogamaya Acharya, President, Ladies Club & Sneha Opportunity Services in the presence Smt. Shanthi Vikraman, Patron, Ladies Club, Neyveli inaugurated the first phase of Tailoring classes for 60 women candidates in and around surrounding villages. NLCIL also planned to inaugurate the training classes in Light Motor Vehicle Driving, German Jewellery Making and Beautician course at the end of July 2018.
