NLC India Limited Organized A Free Medical Camp At Ammeri, Melakuppam Govt. Primary School

New Delhi, Dec 19: NLC India Limited organized a Free Medical Camp at Ammeri, Melakuppam Govt. Primary School, Tamil Nadu on 17.12.2023 under its CSR initiative, benefitting the people of Melakuppam& surrounding areas.

Specialist Doctors:

The camp was inaugurated by Shri.DhabaSeelan, Executive Director/Thermal, NLCIL. Specialist doctors from NLC India Hospital along with Medical staff, Nurses and Pharmacists from various departmentsviz., General Medicine, Paediatrics, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Dental, ENT, Dermatology, Ortho-pediatrics, Ayurveda participated in the Medical Camp and provided treatment to the needy people of Ammeri and surrounding areas.

Free treatment along with Free Medical Aids & Equipment:

Blood tests were conducted and based on the reports, treatmentswere given accordingly. Free Medical Aids & Equipment like 13 Nos. of Hearing Aids,08 Nos. of Wheel Chairs, 15 Nos. of Tripods and 07 Nos. of Walker, were provided to the needy public. Also, First Aid Kitsweredonated to the Ammeri, Melakuppam Govt. Primary Schoolby NLC India Hospital under CSR.

Participants:

A total of 1431 persons, in the specialist area of General Medicine(O.P- 500), Paediatric(O.P-185), Gynecology(O.P-51), Ophthalmology(O.P-133), Dental(O.P-66), ENT(O.P-82), Dermatology(O.P- 114), Ortho-pediatrics(O.P- 155), Ayurveda(O.P- 145) got benefitted by this camp. Smt. JayachitraVelmurugan, Village Presidentparticipatedand facilitated for the smooth conduct of the camp. Shri. Ramachandran Chief General Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Dr. C. DhariniMouli, General Superintendent/Medical of NLC India Hospital, Dr.Nalini Deputy General Superintendent/Medical, and other senior officials of NLCILparticipated in the medical camp.
