Faridabad, Jan 28: NHPC won the ‘Maitri Cup 2023’ T20 Cricket tournament held at Vijay Yadav Residential Cricket Academy, Faridabad from 27^th to 28^th January 2023. Biswajit Basu, Director (Projects), NHPC awarded the winning team of NHPC in the presence of U.S. Sahi, Executive Director (CC), NHPC, Lucas Guria, Executive Director (HR), NHPC and Vijay Yadav, former Indian cricketer and other senior NHPC officers on 28^th  January 2023. Speaking on the occasion, Biswajit Basu, Director (Projects), NHPC congratulated the participating teams for their performance and said that the tournament had been organized by NHPC towards promoting sporting activities and team spirit amongst its employees.

In the final match of the tournament NHPC defeated CVPPPL by 5 wickets. A total of three teams including NHPC, NHDC (A Joint Venture of NHPC & Govt. of Madhya Pradesh) and CVPPPL (Joint Venture Company of NHPC & JKSPDC) had participated in the tournament.

एनएचपीसी ने ‘मैत्री कप 2023‘ टी20 क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट जीता

एनएचपीसी ने 27 से 28 जनवरी 2023 तक विजय यादव आवासीय क्रिकेट अकादमी, फरीदाबाद में आयोजित ‘मैत्री कप 2023’ टी20 क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट जीता। श्री बिश्वजीत बासु, निदेशक (परियोजनाएं), एनएचपीसी ने श्री यू.एस. शाही, कार्यपालक निदेशक (सीसी), एनएचपीसी, श्री लूकस गुड़िया, कार्यपालक निदेशक (मा.सं.), एनएचपीसी और श्री विजय यादव, पूर्व भारतीय क्रिकेटर की उपस्थिति में 28 जनवरी 2023 को एनएचपीसी की विजेता टीम को पुरस्कृत किया। इस अवसर पर अपने सम्बोधन में श्री बिश्वजीत बासु, निदेशक (परियोजनाएं), एनएचपीसी ने भाग लेने वाली टीमों को उनके प्रदर्शन के लिए बधाई दी और कहा कि एनएचपीसी द्वारा अपने कार्मिकों के बीच खेल गतिविधियों और टीम भावना को बढ़ावा देने के लिए टूर्नामेंट का आयोजन किया गया था।

टूर्नामेंट के फाइनल मैच में एनएचपीसी ने सीवीपीपीपीएल को 5 विकेट से हराया। टूर्नामेंट में एनएचपीसी, एनएचडीसी (एनएचपीसी और मध्य प्रदेश सरकार का एक संयुक्त उद्यम) और सीवीपीपीपीएल (एनएचपीसी और जेकेएसपीडीसी की संयुक्त उद्यम कंपनी) सहित कुल तीन टीमों ने भाग लिया था।
