IndianOil Leads National Fire Service Day Observance, Highlights Safety

New Delhi, April 18, 2026: Indian Oil Corporation Limited reinforced its commitment to operational safety and risk management as Director (Refineries) Arvind Kumar led the observance of National Fire Service Day at the Refineries Headquarters.

Held on April 15 under the theme “Safe School, Safe Hospital & Fire Safety Aware Society – Together for Fire Prevention”, the event underscored the company’s focus on strengthening safety culture. Kumar administered the Fire Safety Pledge to employees and unveiled a theme poster marking the occasion.

As part of its ongoing safety initiatives, IndianOil also launched an e-learning module on Process Safety Management (PSM), aimed at enhancing foundational understanding of process safety protocols and accident prevention mechanisms across operations.

Highlighting the Refineries Division’s strategic priorities, Kumar emphasised the increasing adoption of Process Safety Management practices and deployment of digital tools to enable proactive risk monitoring and early warning systems.
