New Delhi Dec 05 Indian Institute Technology-Roorkee felicitated Sanjiv Singh, Chairman, IndianOil, with its most prestigious Distinguished Alumnus Award for the year 2018 for his outstanding professional accomplishments.
Sanjiv Singh, Class of 1980 becomes the first Chemical Engineer from his alma mater to be felicitated with this honour. He received the award at IIT Roorkee at the 172nd Foundation Day of the institution.
A large gathering of senior alumni of Batch 1958 and 1968 celebrating their Golden and Diamond Jubilees, were present on the occasion.
In his acceptance speech CMD Sanjiv Singh said that he “accepts the award with pride and utmost humility as such a recognition by one’s alma mater is the indeed the ultimate honour.”
