Astandoutmomentoftheeveningwastherecognition of K.K.Shailaja,former Kerala Health Minister, for her transformative leadership in public health and governance.
Among the most celebrated honourees, the legendary ShabanaAzmiwas honoured as Empowerment through Entertainment – Icon for her contributions to cinema and portrayal of strong and complex characters, and her advocacy for social change. Dr. SoumyaSwaminathanreceivedtheNationBuilder–Iconawardforherpioneeringleadershipinpublic health and scientific research. SuparnaMitra, CEO of Titan Watches, was recognized as Business Leadership – Icon, setting new benchmarks in corporate leadership.
Other distinguished awardees included ManjariJaruhar, honoured as Fearless Warrior – Icon for her trailblazing career in policing. Ruma Devi, a grassroots leader empowering ruralartisans,receivedtheGrassrootsChangemaker–Iconaward,while AmlaRuiawas recognized as Grassroots Changemaker – Achiever for her pioneering work in water conservation. VijiVenkateshwas named New Beginnings – Icon for her advocacy in cancer care.
Inthebusinessworld,TageRitaTakhe,India’sfirst Kiwiwinemaker,received Business Leadership – Achiever, while Aditi Gupta, founder of Menstrupedia, was awarded Homepreneur – Achiever.
KripaAnanthanwas celebrated as Changemaker – Automotive Industry, and KirubaMunusamywasnamedSocialImpact–Achieverforherlegalactivism.Dr.MenakaGuruswamy&ArundhatiKatjujointlyreceivedSocialImpact –Changemakerfortheir historic legal battles for gender equality and rights of LGBTQ community.
Forhercontributionstopreservingfolkarts, Dr.RaniJhawasawardedFolkHeritage–Icon. Dr. BushraAteeqwas honoured for Excellence in STEM.
In entertainment and digital influence, TillotamaShomeand KonkonaSenwere honoured for Empowerment through Entertainment – Onscreen and Offscreen, respectively. LeezaMangaldaswas awarded for her excellence as Content Creator – Empowerment, ShrutiSethforContentCreator –Parenting,andDr.TanayaNarendrafor Content Creator – Health.
