The 11thGraduation Day of Jawahar Science College was held at Seminar Hall, Jawahar Science College, Block-14, Neyveli, today (22.07.2018) wherein Dr. S.K. Acharya CMD, NLCIL gave away the degrees to the successful candidates and delivered Graduation Day address. Out of 266 Graduates 216 students turned up and received their degree in person and 56 in absentia. Students who have secured university rank in the respective subjects were honored.

Dr. S.K Acharya in his address toGraduates informed that, Graduation Day is much bigger for your parents, Institutions and Teachers of you,whohave scarifies a lot to see you, where you are today. He emphasized that, success is not an accident; it is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all love of what you’re doing.

Heinsisted students to keeptheir passion to accept and overcome challenges, befocused on dreams and be prepared to take calculated risks and do not get deffered byfailures, strive to realize your fullest potential.

Shri R. Vikraman, Director (HR) in his presidential address to the students said that getting graduation froman institution itself an end of one phase and the beginning of the new phase. Be passionate towards your future ambitionwith much determination, inspiration and enthusiasm. He appealed all students to focus on their respective discipline/course or entrepreneurship, which they are passionate imbibing discipline and integrity to reach high levels

Earlier Shri P.A Senthil Kumar, CGM/P&BD, NLCIL, Vice-President, JES, welcomed the gathering and Dr.V.T Chandrasekar, Principal; Jawahar Science College presented an Annual report of the JSC and administered the graduation oath to the successful students. Shri S.Vinayagamoorthy,DGM/P&BD,NLCIL, Secretary /JSC and other senior officials participated in the above function.
