DMRC chalking plans to decongest Rajiv Chowk

New Delhi, June 22  The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is chalking out new methodologies and plans to reduce congestion at the bustling Rajiv Chowk station, which serves as interchange for two key lines, a statement said.

“Managing director Mangu Singh, during his night inspection on Friday examined and discussed with metro officers methodologies to reduce congestion at Rajiv Chowk,” said a DMRC statement.

He directed officers to work on the possibility of permitting passengers to interchange through the viewers gallery in the non-paid area of the Rajiv Chowk Metro station as this would reduce congestion inside, it added.
