New Delhi, Feb 25 CISF contingent consisting of 99 Officers and men (Asstt. Comdt.-01, Lady Sub Officers-02, Other Ranks–96 : Total 99) led by Mohnish Bagree, Assistant Commandant participated in the Republic Day Parade-2022 held at Rajpath, New Delhi which was declared the “Best Marching Contingent” amongst Para-Military Forces and other Auxiliary Marching Contingents on 04.02.2022.
On 25.02.2022, a ceremony was organized at CISF HQrs, New Delhi wherein M P Gupta, Director, Ministry of Defence presented the “Best Marching Contingent Trophy” to Sheel Vardhan Singh, CISF, Contingent Commander Mohnish Bagree, Assistant Commandant and Band Marster Karan Singh, Sub-Inspector/Exe in presence of other senior offices of CISF, MoD & MHA.
M P Gupta, Director, Ministry of Defence congratulated Shri Sheel Vardhan Singh, DG, CISF for the excellent performance of CISF Contingent in the Republic Day Parade- 2022. DG, CISF also congratulated Contingent Commander and other Officers of CISF for their excellent performance and bringing this proud achievement to the organization.
This is the seventh time that the CISF Contingent has won the Best Marching Contingent award. Earlier CISF Contingent was adjudged Best Marching Contingent in the year 2007, 2008, 2013, 2015, 2017 & 2020.
