New Delhi, 22.02.2021: On 21.02.2021 at around 2017 hrs, CISF CCTV observer noticed a male passenger that he was feeling unwell and lying unconscious at Platform No-01 of Barakhamba metro station. Immediately, he informed the matter to his seniors and him-self rushed to the spot. He noticed that the passenger was unconscious and not breathing properly. Immediately, he started giving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to the passenger by observing SOPs. Thereafter, the said passenger regained consciousness and revealed his identity as Mr Rohit, aged 18 yrs, R/O Kalyanpuri, New Delhi.
Subsequently, DMRP and ambulance were called. Shift In-charge of CISF and Station Controller reached the spot and asked the passenger for further medical assistance, but he denied to go to Hospital. He thanked CISF profusely for saving his life.
Later, the said passenger along-with his relative went out from the metro station.
