Ahmedabad, July 21: Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) on Tuesday reported a strong operational performance for the first quarter of FY2026-27, with standalone revenue rising 27% year-on-year to Rs 1,910 crore. The company recorded earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of Rs 281 crore and profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 133 crore, supported by higher natural gas volumes and continued expansion of its city gas distribution network.

During the quarter, combined standalone compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG) sales volumes increased 13% year-on-year to 303 million metric standard cubic metres (MMSCM), reflecting growing consumer demand for cleaner fuels across transport, residential and commercial segments.

Commenting on the results, ATGL Chief Executive Officer Sanjay Pandita said the company delivered robust volume and revenue growth despite a challenging global energy environment. He noted that elevated natural gas prices, higher Brent crude oil prices, currency volatility and geopolitical developments continued to influence global energy markets and gas sourcing strategies.

Pandita said the company’s focus remained on ensuring uninterrupted gas supply, improving operational efficiency and protecting CNG and PNG consumers from market volatility while creating long-term value for customers and stakeholders.

ATGL continued to strengthen its distribution infrastructure during the quarter by adding five new CNG stations, taking the total network to 707 stations. The company also added 38,243 new PNG household connections, increasing the total customer base to 11.41 lakh households. Its industrial and commercial customer base expanded by 448 consumers to 10,422, while the cumulative steel pipeline network reached 15,987 inch-km.

Including its joint venture IndianOil-Adani Gas Pvt. Ltd. (IOAGPL), the company’s pan-India footprint continued to expand. Combined CNG and PNG sales volumes reached 496 MMSCM, while the total network increased to 1,167 CNG stations following the addition of six new stations. Across the combined network, PNG household connections crossed 13.75 lakh, serving more than six million people daily, with the industrial and commercial customer base growing to 12,326 and the pipeline network extending to 28,675 inch-km.

Adani Total Gas has begun FY27 with steady financial and operational growth, driven by rising demand for cleaner fuels and continued expansion of its city gas distribution network. Despite global energy market challenges, the company remains focused on enhancing supply reliability, expanding infrastructure and supporting India’s transition towards cleaner energy.
