Mumbai, May 26: Tata Chemicals Limited’s Mambattu Unit has received the Bronze Award at the 18th edition of the CII National EHS Excellence Awards 2025, recognising its commitment to workplace safety and strong Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) standards.
Organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the awards honour organisations demonstrating excellence in workplace safety, occupational health, environmental stewardship and sustainable operational practices.
The recognition highlights Tata Chemicals’ continued focus on strengthening safety systems, enhancing EHS processes and maintaining sustainable operations across its manufacturing facilities.
Commenting on the achievement, Narashimha V. Kamath, Chief – Manufacturing, Corporate Safety and Sustainability at Tata Chemicals, said safety remains a core value integrated into the company’s operational and decision-making framework.
He said the CII recognition reflects the organisation’s commitment to building a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible workplace, while acknowledging the contribution of employees in strengthening the company’s safety culture.
Tata Chemicals said it will continue to enhance EHS practices through innovation, employee participation, process improvements and adherence to global safety standards.
