New Delhi, March 20: REC Limited unveiled its technology-driven pavilion at the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, presenting its strategic vision of “Financing India’s Energy Abundance” and reinforcing its role in enabling the country’s clean energy transition.
The pavilion was inaugurated by Union Ministers Manohar Lal Khattar, Pralhad Joshi, and Shripad Naik, in the presence of Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary (Power), and Jitendra Srivastava, Chairman and Managing Director of REC Limited, along with senior officials from the Ministry of Power.
Anchored around the concept of the “Green Multiplier,” the pavilion underscores REC’s role in scaling sustainable development by expanding access to clean energy, fostering innovation, and supporting inclusive growth. The design and visual elements reflect renewable energy themes, symbolising India’s transition towards a low-carbon economy.
A key highlight of the pavilion is a solar-themed installation inspired by the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, showcasing REC’s contribution to decentralised energy access and rooftop solar adoption.
The pavilion also presents REC’s diversified financing portfolio, supporting sectors such as renewable energy, electric mobility, and infrastructure, aligned with India’s Net Zero 2070 targets.
Leveraging advanced technologies, the space offers an immersive experience through anamorphic LED walls, kinetic displays, RFID-enabled storytelling, and innovation hubs, positioning REC as a key enabler of next-generation energy infrastructure.
Through this showcase, REC Limited reaffirmed its leadership in financing India’s energy transition and its commitment to powering a sustainable and inclusive growth trajectory.
