India Welcomes Finnish President Alexander Stubb for Key Three-Day Visit

New Delhi, March 05: Finnish President Alexander Stubb arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday for a three-day State Visit at the invitation of Narendra Modi, marking his first trip to India since assuming office.

Received by Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh, President Stubb was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour on arrival. He will serve as Chief Guest at the 11th edition of the Raisina Dialogue, where he is scheduled to deliver the keynote address.

Bilateral talks between the two leaders will focus on expanding cooperation across trade, technology, innovation and multilateral engagement. During his visit, President Stubb will also call on Droupadi Murmu and meet senior Indian leaders, including External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar.

The visit includes engagements in Mumbai with state leadership and business representatives, underscoring efforts to deepen India-Finland economic and strategic ties within the broader EU and Nordic framework.
