New Delhi/Kokrajhar, March 02: Three employees of NTPC Bongaigaon successfully completed the 42-km Full Marathon at the 2nd Kokrajhar NCC Full Marathon, organised in association with the Bodoland Territorial Region Government under the theme “City of Peace.”
Shaik Muneer Basha (AGM–EMD), Jitendra Kumar Mohanty (DGM–Mechanical Maintenance), and Yadagiri Kurukondalu (Senior Manager–Planning & Services) finished the endurance race, underscoring the organisation’s focus on employee fitness and resilience.
Over 30 employees and family members also participated across 5 km, 10 km and 21 km categories. Anurag Gupta, GM (O&M), flagged off the Half Marathon and completed the 5 km run. The event saw participation from more than 2,000 athletes and NCC cadets across Assam.
The achievement reflects NTPC Bongaigaon’s continued emphasis on wellness, community engagement and the Fit India movement.
