Mumbai, Feb 18, 2026 – REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Power and a leading NBFC, has been recognised with the Global CSR Excellence & Leadership Award in the “Best CSR Projects in PSUs” category for its flagship healthcare programme, “Doctor Aapke Dwar”. Designed to bring primary healthcare closer to rural and remote communities, the initiative exemplifies how corporate responsibility can make a real difference in people’s lives.
The award was received by Alok Singh, Chief Program Manager, Regional Office Mumbai, and Vishal Sudesh, Chief Manager (CSR), during the 15th Edition of Global CSR Excellence & Leadership Awards organised by World CSR Day at Taj Lands End, Mumbai.
This recognition is a testament to REC’s commitment to creating tangible social impact, reinforcing the company’s role as a responsible corporate citizen. Over the current financial year, REC’s CSR efforts have also been honoured with the ASSOCHAM CSR & Sustainability Award 2024, the CSR Award of Appreciation from the Indian Red Cross Society, and FICCI’s India Sports Awards 2025 for Best Corporate Promoting Sports – Public Sector.
