New Delhi, June 26 Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today, on 26th of June 2025, the much-awaited Train No. 11086/11085 Gwalior–SMVT Bengaluru Express was flagged off from Gwalior Junction.
Train Details & Route Background
- This service marks the first-ever Originating /Terminating train from Gwalior to Bengaluru, fulfilling a long-pending public demand from the Chambal and Gwalior regions.
- Until now, no direct train existed, so passengers had to change at Bhopal or Nagpur.
- Train No. 11086/85 will operate weekly, offering end-to-end connectivity with minimum transfer dependency.
- The train contains 22 modern LHB coaches having 9 AC coaches, 12 Non-AC coaches with Pantry car
- Train will connect five states Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka
