Faridabad, Jan 26: NHPC celebrated India’s 75th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on 26th January 2024. The celebrations began with unfurling of the National Flag by R.P. Goyal, Director (Finance), NHPC and singing of National Anthem at NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad. Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel), NHPC and R.K. Chaudhary, Director (Technical & Projects), NHPC were also present on the occasion alongwith other senior NHPC officers, employees and their family members.
Addressing the occasion, R.P. Goyal extended his greetings to the entire NHPC family on Republic Day. Goyal said that on 26th January 1950 our country was declared as a democratic republic which is a system of governance by the people and for the people.
Director (Finance), NHPC said that NHPC is the premier organisation of the country in the field of hydropower generation. He further added that the present hydropower installed capacity of NHPC is about 15% of the total capacity of the country and that our responsibility can also be gauged from the fact that today NHPC is constructing 52% of the total hydropower projects under construction in the country. Goyal also said that NHPC’s 2000 MW Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project and 800 MW Parbati- II Hydroelectric Project will start generation of power in the financial year 2024-25.
On this occasion, Goyal appealed to all the employees of NHPC to work with full dedication and perform their duties with utmost determination. The Republic Day programme was also telecast live at all NHPC locations in the country through web casting.
एनएचपीसी ने 75वां गणतंत्र दिवस मनाया
एनएचपीसी ने 26 जनवरी 2024 को बड़े हर्षोल्लास के साथ भारत का 75वां गणतंत्र दिवस मनाया। एनएचपीसी निगम मुख्यालय, फरीदाबाद में समारोह की शुरुआत श्री आर.पी. गोयल, निदेशक (वित्त) एनएचपीसी द्वारा राष्ट्रध्वज फहराकर और राष्ट्रगान के साथ हुआ। श्री उत्तम लाल, निदेशक (कार्मिक), एनएचपीसी श्री आर.के. चौधरी, निदेशक (तकनीकी व परियोजनाएं), एनएचपीसी सहित अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी और कर्मचारी व उनके परिवार के सदस्य भी इस अवसर पर उपस्थित थे।
इस अवसर पर संबोधित करते हुए श्री आर.पी. गोयल ने पूरे एनएचपीसी परिवार को गणतंत्र दिवस की बधाई दी। श्री गोयल ने कहा कि 26 जनवरी 1950 को हमारा देश लोकतांत्रिक गणराज्य के रुप में घोषित हुआ और हमने अपने लिए एक लोकतांत्रिक प्रणाली को चुना था अर्थात् जनता के द्वारा जनता के लिए शासन की व्यवस्था।
निदेशक (वित्त), एनएचपीसी ने बताया कि एनएचपीसी जलविद्युत उत्पादन के क्षेत्र में देश की अग्रणी संस्थान है और इसकी वर्तमान जलविद्युत संस्थापित क्षमता देश की कुल क्षमता का लगभग 15% है। उन्होने आगे कहा कि हमारी जिम्मेदारी का अंदाजा इस बात से भी लगाया जा सकता है कि एनएचपीसी आज देश की कुल 52% निर्माणाधीन जलविद्युत परियोजनाओं का निर्माण कर रही है। श्री गोयल ने बताया कि वित्त वर्ष 2024-25 में 2000 मेगावाट की सुबानसिरी लोअर जलविद्युत परियोजना और 800 मेगावाट की पार्बती-II जलविद्युत परियोजना में विद्युत उत्पादन शुरू हो जाएगा।
श्री गोयल ने एनएचपीसी के सभी कर्मचारियों से पूरी लगन के साथ काम करने और अपने कर्तव्यों का पूरी दृढ़ता के साथ पालन करने की अपील की। वेब कास्टिंग के माध्यम से गणतन्त्र दिवस कार्यक्रम का सीधा प्रसारण देश भर में स्थित एनएचपीसी के सभी कार्यालयों में भी किया गया।
