New Delhi 17.11.2023 : On 16.11.2023 at about 1625 hrs a male visitor later identified as Shri Upendra Kumar Pal, 70 yrs, R/o Cuttack, had came to see the Taj Mahal with his relatives. He was standing in line to go through the security check, suddenly his health deteriorated and he fell unconscious.
Sub Inspector Shailendra Kumar of CISF who was performing duty at the Taj Mahal, Agra, acted promptly and administered life-saving Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to the visitor. Due to his immediate response, the visitor was successfully revived.
Subsequently, he was transported by ambulance to Shanti Mangalick Hospital for further medical treatment. He and his family profusely thanked Sub Inspector Shailendra Kumar of CISF for saving his life. The proactive and quick actions of the CISF personnel played a pivotal role in saving a valuable life.
