New Delhi, 01.11.2023: In a significant move towards enhancing the security and protection of critical national infrastructure, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has officially been inducted into the MIDHANI (Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited), Hyderabad. A total of 118 well-trained CISF personnel have been deployed headed by an Assistant Commandant rank officer to safeguard this vital facility.
On 31.10.2023, in a colourful induction ceremony, CISF took over the regular security of the MIDHANI. Shri M Nandan, Dy Inspector General, CISF, SZ-II HQ, Hyderabad was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr. Sanjay Kumar Jha, CMD, MIDHANI, Officials of MIDHANI, CISF and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
With this induction, CISF is protecting total 358 Units across the country. The administrative control of this establishment will be under Inspector General, South Sector, Chennai. Recognizing the importance of safeguarding this facility, the decision to deploy CISF personnel has been made to ensure the highest level of security and safety standards. The induction of CISF personnel at the MIDHANI in Hyderabad is a part of the Government of India’s commitment to bolstering the protection of critical infrastructure, thereby ensuring the uninterrupted availability of essential super alloys for the nation.
