Railtel Implements E-Office Project For Government Of Puducherry

e-Office project implemented by RailTel for Government of Puducherry has been inaugurated by Lieutenant Governor Dr. (Smt.) Tamilisai Soundararajan in the gracious presence of Chief Minister N. Rangasamy of Govt. of Puducherry at a program held at Puducherry.

The e-Office application will help electronic processing of government files which would ensure better monitoring of government schemes.

RailTel has developed expertise in the implementation of e-Office project in Government offices and have many such assignment to its credit : Sanjai Kumar, CMD, RailTel

New Delhi, Aug 10 RailTel Corporation of India Ltd., a Mini Ratna PSU under Ministry of Railways PSU has implemented NIC e-Office project for the Government of Puducherry.

This e-Office project was inaugurated on 9 August 2023 along with other IT applications for welfare schemes by Lieutenant Governor of Government of Puducherry Dr. (Smt.) Tamilisai Soundararajan in the gracious presence of Chief Minister N. Rangasamy of Govt. of Puducherry on the occasion of “Workshop on Building the technology future”organized jointly by Directorate of Information Technology & Puducherry e-Governess Society at Puducherey .

The e-Office application will help electronic processing of government files.

e-Office enables quick decision making, fast delivery of services, accountability, transparancy and data security. e-Office ultimately helps in effective implementation and monitoring of welfare schemes.

Railtel also conducted and organised several series of training programmes to users and administrators for this e-office project. Data of Govt. of Puducherry will be hosted at RailTel’s Data centres .In addition, RailTel is currently implementing a Rs. 170.11 Crore project for design, develop, supply, instIall, test, commission and O&M for 5 years of

Integrated Command Control Centre (ICCC) and other associated activities for Puducherry Smart City.
