District Commissioner, Kokrajhar Stresses On Dedication And Commitment In Life To NTPC Bongaigaon GEM Girls

New Delhi, July 18: Varnali Deka,IAS, District Commissioner, Kokrajhar interacted with the 40 Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM) girls- Batch 2023 of NTPC Bongaigaon under its “Meet the Role Models” Initiative and went on an educational tour to the DC office.

Deka, in an hour-long interaction in her office, lauded the girls for their efforts on presentations made by them on various subjects, their singing and poem recitation abilities and asked them about their future goals and aspirations.

Kabita Deka, ACS, ADC, Kokrajhar, S Bora, ACS, ADC, Kokrajhar and Rituparna Das, ACS, Circle Officer, who were also present in the DC office interacted with their children and spoke on their functioning to maintain the law and order of the district. All the ADCs encouraged them to believe in themselves and wished them luck for their future endeavours.

Later Deka, apprised the girls about the importance of aim in life, the commitment required for being and becoming a civil servant, she also quizzed them and gave the students who answered small tokens of appreciation each. The children were inspired, enjoyed the visit and thanked Deka for her valuable time. Deka also appreciated NTPC for the noble initiative.
