Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today dedicated Kishanganga Hydro Power Station (330 MW) of NHPC to the nation. Event was held at Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre, Srinagar in the august presence of Shri N.N. Vohra, Governor, J&K, Ms. Mehbooba Mufti, Chief Minister of J&K, Central Ministers Shri Nitin Gadkari, Dr. Jitendra Singh and Shri R.K. Singh. From the State of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Kavinder Gupta, Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Sunil Kumar Sharma, Minister for Power Development, Shri Nazir Ahmed Khan, Dy. Speaker, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, MP and Shri Muzaffar Hussain Baig, MP along with Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Secretary (Power), Government of India, Shri Balraj Joshi, CMD, NHPC, Shri Ratish Kumar, Director (Projects), NHPC, Shri N.K. Jain, Director (Personnel), NHPC, Shri M.K. Mittal, Director (Finance), NHPC, Senior Central & State Govt. officers and other senior officers from NHPC were also present on the occasion.
