Govt. of India is going to acquire 460.19 hectares of land in six villages in the district of Latehar, Jharkhand for development of Tubed coal block by Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC). In this regard Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number SO 356(E) dated 22.01.2018 issued under Section 7 of the CBA Act 1957 and published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Subsection (ii) dated 24.01.2018. Paper publication of the Gazette Notification is also done in local newspapers for wide circulation among the local people.
